Director of Nursing, RN, DON

Description:
Our Administrator is looking for a clinical partner at our skilled nursing center that has excellent regional and divisional support.  If you are a hands-on manager with great listening skills, a strong leader that can connect with your team, have excellent clinical and financial skills- we would love to hear from you!   A commitment to true team work with a passion for mentoring and coaching staff is required. 
The Director of Nursing will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long-term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times. 
 
Requirements:
· Registered Nurse, RN, in state of employement.
· Should possess exceptional leadership and team building skills.
· 2 years leadership or supervisory experience in long term care or skilled nursing environment.
· Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing skilled nursing facilities.
