Greek Floor Leader (PL)

Position Summary:
The University is accepting applications for Greek Floor Leaders on a regular basis. When a position becomes available, your application will be considered in the applicant pool.

Responsibilities:

This position will serve through an academic year, August to May.

The selected applicant will:

· Attend a three day training prior to school starting; this will not interfere with recruitment.
· Live in a room on the floor of the chapter you represent with a roommate and pay the normal housing rate.
· Uphold all Housing and University policies and document all policy violations.
· Assist with health and safety inspections each month on the chapter's floor.
· Maintain communication with the Residence Hall Coordinator of the tower and keep them informed of positive and negative activity on the floor.
· Stay within the building overnight on one designated duty night every other week and one full weekend a month and walk rounds in both towers with a duty partner on those designated nights.
· Assist with hall closings and openings for breaks: Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring and Summer break.
· Assist with distributing keys for lockouts.

Qualification Equivalencies:
No equivalencies.
Desired Qualifications Applicants should have lived on-campus for two semesters, have a 2.0 G.P.A., be an initiated member of the Greek system, and be in good standing with the University. The committee will review judicial records.
Applicants will also be asked for a list of references.

Additional Information:
This position comes with $600 stipend per semester.
