Position Summary: The University is accepting applications for Custodian on a regular basis. When an opening is available your application will be considered in the candidate pool.
Follow the direction of Head Custodian within assigned facilities in keeping university buildings clean and maintained offering a safe and enjoyable environment for the administration, faculty, staff, students, and the community as a whole. Follows the provided maintenance schedules for facilities under their responsibility as well as any special cleaning requests from other university faculty and staff members as assigned by the Head Custodian. Performs routine inspections of maintenance of facilities as required by established policies and assigned by Head Custodian. Oversees the custodial and maintenance equipment and supplies that they are working with as outline in established procedures. Maintains records of time, materials, and resources according to established procedures and as directed.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Qualifications: One year of custodial experience required.
Qualification Equivalencies: An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
